The purpose of air valve maintenance

Save costs and improve efficiency

Compared to the cost and delivery time of new valves, the benefits generated by valve maintenance are very significant. This can not only reduce the high cost of purchasing new valves, but also ensure the stable operation of the production line, thereby improving overall operational efficiency, achieving cost savings and efficiency improvement.

Ensure quality, comparable to new products

Professional air valve maintenance services can ensure that the equipment is restored to a performance state close to that of a new product. During the maintenance process, technicians will conduct a comprehensive inspection, cleaning, replacement of worn parts, and necessary debugging of the air valve to ensure optimal sealing, smoothness, and durability.

Repair Cycle

Manufacturer's suggestion, important reference

The maintenance cycle of the air valve should usually follow the recommendations of the equipment manufacturer. These recommendations are based on factors such as the product's design lifespan, usage environment, and expected load. Following the manufacturer's recommended maintenance cycle helps ensure the long-term stable operation of the air valve.

Actual working conditions, determining factors

However, the complexity of actual operating conditions often requires flexible adjustment of maintenance cycles. Factors such as work environment, frequency of use, and medium characteristics may all affect the wear rate and performance of the air valve.

Breakdown Steps

Fix the air valve and gradually disassemble it : Fix the valve base onto a dedicated workbench and use the corresponding torque wrench and socket to remove the valve nut.

Check for damage and clean impurities : After disassembling all components of the air valve, clean and remove oil stains from the parts (spring, valve plate, valve ring)
Spring caps, spring washers, etc. do not require cleaning and need to be replaced with new parts. Check the damage of the valve seat and cover.

Take out the parts, classify and place them : During the disassembly process, classify and place the extracted parts according to their categories to avoid confusion. Use specialized tools or containers for storage to ensure that parts are not damaged and easily identifiable.

Repair and replace damaged components

After cleaning the water stains and impurities on the surface of the valve seat/cover, check if there is any damage to the sealing surface of the valve seat/cover

Assembly and maintenance

Arrange the repaired valve seat/cover and internal components required for assembly in order, and check whether there are impurities or water stains left on each component. Fix the inspected valve seat onto the workbench and install the valve disc (ring), buffer disc, guide ring, etc. in sequence according to the assembly diagram of the air valve.
After the assembly of the air valve is completed, it is crucial to apply an appropriate amount of lubricating oil during the storage process of the air valve. This not only effectively isolates moisture and oxygen in the air, preventing rusting of valve components, but also reduces friction and extends the service life of the valve. Ensure even application and cover all critical areas.
